The Brass Ring Story

I'm Logan Benjamin — founder of Brass Ring Web Solutions, and someone who has spent the last seven years helping local businesses and nonprofits show up online the way they deserve to.

Since 2019, I've built custom websites and digital strategies for businesses and nonprofits across Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Rochester, and Western New York. The reason I do this work goes back further than that.

I was diagnosed with autism at age 3. Growing up, that shaped how I process the world — I notice structure, detail, and clarity in ways most people don't. A small layout flaw or a vague line of copy stands out to me immediately. Over time, I stopped seeing that as a quirk and began to see it as a skill. It's why my websites are clean and easy to navigate, and why the strategies I build are practical rather than overcomplicated.

I come from a family of business owners. I grew up watching people work hard, build something real, and still struggle to stay visible in a crowded market. When I started Brass Ring, the goal was simple: give local businesses and nonprofits the same quality of web design, SEO, and digital strategy that companies take for granted — without the agency price tag.

I've loved amusement parks my whole life. While volunteering at the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum in North Tonawanda, I kept coming back to the idea of the brass ring — that extra reach, that moment of going a little further than everyone else. It felt like the right name for a company built around helping people aim higher and actually get there.

In 2024, I launched WNY Biz Board, a grassroots directory designed to give local organizations more visibility without paying an arm and a leg. Today, it's part of WNY Thrive, a regional platform I help run with my business partner, Ken Lockwood. Together, we connect businesses and nonprofits across Western New York through visibility, community relationships, and shared growth.
