The Brass Ring Story

My name is Logan Benjamin, and I'm the founder of Brass Ring Web Solutions .I’ve been designing custom websites for small businesses and nonprofits across Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Western New York since 2019.

My passion for digital design and local business started early. I was diagnosed with autism at age three in 2001. While that’s brought unique challenges, it’s also shaped how I approach structure, communication, and attention to detail. That perspective helps me build websites that are not only visually strong, but also accessible, intuitive, and built to last.

Coming from a family of business owners, I’ve seen firsthand how hard it is to stay visible, earn trust, and compete online. That experience led me to start Brass Ring, a business built to help other local businesses grow with smart web design, local SEO, and long-term strategy.

The name “Brass Ring” comes from my lifelong love of amusement parks. While volunteering at the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum in North Tonawanda, I connected with the symbolism of reaching for the brass ring, striving for something better and helping others do the same.

In 2024, I launched WNY Biz Board, a grassroots directory that later became part of the WNY Thrive ecosystem. Today, I run the site alongside my friend and business partner Ken Lockwood, helping local businesses and nonprofits across Buffalo, Rochester, and the broader Western New York region thrive online.
